It's been a rollercoaster of a year – a wild journey through the intricacies of the sponsorship game, facing apathy, challenges, and a reluctance to embrace the future. But as the saying goes, "No pain, no gain." And boy, have we felt the pain.

Change isn’t easy, especially when you're disrupting an industry as cutthroat as sports sponsorships. We get it. But clinging onto outdated methods won’t cut it anymore. The time to prepare for the future is now!

Cracking the Code – Or So We Thought

We embarked on a mission, reaching out to the powerhouses of Australian sport – the AFL clubs. We shouted from the rooftops, got the blessing of senior AFL management, and together launched a survey hoping to get intel that could tailor our platform to suit their needs. The response? A whopping four out of eighteen teams bothered to reply. Now, we’re not mathematicians, but those odds aren’t looking too favourable.

Major codes, it's time to wake up! Clubs are crying out for new opportunities to pitch their assets to and meet those revenue targets essential for survival. Surprisingly, this was the only point all four survey respondents could agree on. A universal cry for help.

Taking the Leap: From Top Tier to the Brave Beyond

We get it; being the first to make the leap can be daunting. We pitched to top-tier sports, then took the plunge into the world beyond, only to find hesitation at every corner. But here’s the thing – we won't give up. We'll enter 2024 with renewed energy, determined to make this change because we know it's crucial for the success of our industry.
